Green sand casting design…

For each and every green sand casting project, our engineers will begin by taking time to thoroughly understand the cast iron components to be manufactured and any special performance criteria that need to be achieved.

If required, they will then develop designs using our in-house CAD/CAM design facilities which include SolidWorks. They’ll draw upon unrivalled green sand casting expertise to design cast iron components that optimise your own production and assembly efficiencies. We’ll also work in partnership with you to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the cast iron component designs before proceeding to the next stage.

Green sand casting pattern making…

Once designs have been approved, they will be linked to our own CNC pattern making equipment to produce the patterns. If you already have patterns, we will happily use or modify these where necessary.

Sample cast iron components will then be produced and tested exhaustively in our laboratory using spectrometer, sand testing, metallographic and physical testing equipment before being sent to you for approval.
