Our foundry operates six automated moulding lines including a new Disa production facility, supported by cupola and electric melting. This provides a unique ability to respond rapidly to customer requirements for grey iron castings and ductile iron castings.

We also have the ability to manufacture grey iron castings in material grades BS EN 1561:1997 and ductile iron castings in grades BS EN 1563:1997.

Unlike less experienced engineering foundries, Thomas Dudley can manufacture the most intricately shaped castings ranging from the size of a 50p piece up to 100Kg in weight.

Thomas Dudley remains committed to investing in the very latest technology. In recent years, this approach has enabled new automated cold box core technology and air set moulding facilities to further enhance our capability to manufacture bespoke grey iron castings and ductile iron castings.

As such, we are now able to produce cost-effective grey iron castings and ductile iron castings as individual items and in small, medium and large production batches comprising thousands of components.
