Customer Support Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity with Thomas Dudley Foundry Ltd for a Customer Support Manager to join our growing team and help drive continuous improvement.   This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, service-minded and process-focused professional who can demonstrate the ability to adapt to business needs.  Reporting to the Operations Director for the Foundry at Duport Tipton, you will help to resolve issues with customers' products effectively and efficiently.  Possessing a real enthusiasm to gain knowledge of the product specifications and industry, you will have a good deal of autonomy but will also need to be able work in a team environment.

Your bit…..

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by acting as the interface between the operations teams and sales teams within the business
  • To organise commercial back office duties to ensure that the customer is well managed in accordance with expectations
  • Prioritise workflow to ensure issues are dealt with efficiently and to the highest standard
  • Ensure all relevant despatch paperwork is manged and MRP systems are updated accurately and efficiently to maintain data integrity
  • Ensure adequate stocks are maintained using stock management tools and develop action plans for slow moving stocks
  • Ensure master data accuracy with regards to stock and WIP, providing detailed stock analysis and reports at various intervals
  • To improve and implement new processes / procedure updates to ensure a first rate level of customer service
  • Analysis and interpretation of customer and sales information for report purposes
  • Compile and deliver presentations to Customers and Stakeholders
  • Undertake any reasonable duties specified by the Management Team when required
