Graphic Designer – 6 Months Fixed Term Contract

Thomas Dudley Ltd has an outstanding reputation for product innovation and excellent customer service delivery.  We are now looking to enhance our in house marketing team by recruiting a Graphic Designer on a fixed term contract basis at a really exciting time for the business with a business unit rebrand launch fast approaching. As such, there will be a unique opportunity to help implement new branding across traditional and digital channels.

Reporting into the Group Marketing Manager the successful candidate will focus predominantly on graphic design for a wide range of marketing materials.  In addition the role holder will provide support across digitally based initiatives including website updates, merchandising products via an in-house e-commerce site and production of rendered product images.

Your bit…

Graphic Design

  • Assisting the Marketing Designer in producing artwork for a variety of initiatives for the Group’s businesses
  • Producing artwork for printed marketing materials which could include literature, adverts, product packaging, posters, exhibition graphics, free gifts and promotional items, point of sale displays etc.
  • Have the ability to work both from design templates and devise completely new and original designs
  • Providing concepts to Directors / sales / marketing contacts working across individual companies within the Group
  • Resizing and reformatting advertisements and submitting artwork to meet pre-set deadlines with relevant trade magazines
  • Obtaining quotations from printers and other marketing suppliers


  • Assisting the Senior Digital Marketing and Projects Specialist to update website content and upload new products to an ecommerce website
  • Production of rendered product images using Keyshot

What you need to do it…

  • Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role either in-house or agency based
  • A self-starter with the ability to work under his or her own directive, well organised and able to follow through to project completion
  • Ability to multi task across a wide range of projects and meet varying deadlines
  • First rate communication and presentation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Skilled and resourceful problem solver
  • Confidence and the ability to work well and under pressure
  • Meticulous approach to all tasks with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
