Internal Sales Executive (Masefield Beta)

We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Masefield-Beta business for an Internal Sales Executive to join our established high performing team.  This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, sales focused professional who can demonstrate the ability to adapt to business needs.  Pro-actively selling to new and existing merchants and distributors promoting product ranges.

The role holder will work with the external sales team and provide support for the Merchant, Distributor and Buying Group customers. Possessing a real enthusiasm to gain knowledge of the product specifications and industry, you will be capable of working independently but will also need to be able work in a team environment.

Your bit…

  • Responsible for outbound sales calls, successfully developing new business by cold calling lapsed and prospective customers
  • Maintain and build relationships with new and existing customers
  • Actively upsell to existing customers
  • Identify prospects that will lead to business opportunities
  • Prepare new quotations and tenders as and when requested
  • Ensure customer price lists are kept updated
  • Follow up any customer quotations
  • Feedback to the wider business on competitor pricing, product development and market forces
  • Participate in sales conferences
  • Attend customer visits with Sales Manager’s
  • Enter and update customer information into the CRM database in an accurate manner
  • Support and attend company exhibitions nationally

What you need to do it…

  • Previous experience within an internal sales role
  • Highly articulate, with first-rate verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build lasting long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and an eye for accuracy
  • Great organisation skills, ability to work on a number of tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work to and achieve deadlines being results orientated
  • Analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
