Our Turbo 88 Duoflush syphon goes from strength to strength, and its water-saving potential has been confirmed by a major independent trial by South West Water. In their recent Water Efficiency Trial, the Turbo 88 proved to be the most effective long-term water saver of all the devices used. Against traditional displacement devices such as bags and bricks that actually wasted water, the Turbo 88 performed strongly and delivered savings of around 10 percent which, according to the report, would continue to be maintained. As research indicates that flushing the toilet is responsible for around 30 percent of all water used in the home, we are delighted by this latest endorsement of the benefits of the Turbo 88.

Our foundry division is set for the future with the introduction of a new dry bag filter plant, which extracts emissions from the cupolas when iron is being melted. This enables us to meet the new legal emissions requirement which comes into force in 2010, and is 25 times more effective than traditional methods of extraction. This significant investment demonstrates the commitment we have to the long term future of our foundry.
