For the past three years we have supported the Dudley Academy Trust Schools with coats and shoes for those students in need. It was lovely to receive the email below from head teacher Ian Moore from St James Academy.
I would like to extend our sincere thanks for the additional coats you have provided this year.
Due to the cost-of-living crisis we have seen an increased need for necessary items, and we are grateful that you are able to assist us in providing these to our vulnerable learners.
We recently held a DAT Families Day here at St James, and the true extent or families in need was apparent. We were able to hand out many of the coats on that day, hopefully alleviating a little of the financial burden parents and carers are currently facing.
Thank you for continuing to support us in providing the best life chance for our learners.
